Frequently Asked Questions

Clear answers about bookings, shoots, galleries, payments and image usage.

Send a booking enquiry with as much information as possible. Hill Visuals will review the project, confirm availability and reply with the next steps. An enquiry does not confirm a booking until the relevant quotation, terms and payment requirements have been accepted.

The earlier the better, especially for motorsport weekends, weddings and larger events. Short-notice enquiries are still welcome and will be considered where availability allows.

Hill Visuals is based around Derby and works across Derbyshire, the East Midlands, Staffordshire, Birmingham and other UK locations. Travel requirements can be discussed as part of the quotation.

The best approach depends on the type of shoot. Some events continue in poor weather, while other sessions may need an alternative plan or rearranged date. Any weather decision will be discussed clearly before the shoot.

Finished work is delivered through the agreed Hill Visuals gallery or delivery method. Private client galleries can be accessed through the Client Portal once they are available.

Timescales depend on the project size, event and deliverables. The expected turnaround will be explained before the booking is confirmed and may also appear in the contract or project information.

A deposit or booking payment may be required to secure a date. The exact amount and due date will be included in the quotation or booking terms.

Cancellation terms depend on the project and how close the cancellation is to the booked date. Check the Cancellations & Refunds page and any project-specific contract for the terms that apply.
